more of Sawyer smiles and coos

Not the best video quality, but another glimpse of Sawyer in action

Ella is actually pretty good at casting her fishing pole. Here she is doing it off of the deck.
Ella and Nathan's best fishing spot

Fall is approaching

Family picture (with the bribe of watching "Curious George" if they would sit and smile for the picture)!

Family picture minus mom

Sawyer's second mommy

We had a garage sale and here are the kiddos watching a movie to stay out of trouble. The far left girl is our neighbor Sydney, and then there is Anna and Ben of my friend Rachel.

The cutest bug I know!

Who doesn't fish with their Halloween costumes on!

Yes....... Sawyer gets cloth diapers too!

8 weeks and growing so big

I went to visit my cousin Rich and Melissa Terpstra and their new baby James. Here he is with big sister Nora. Sawyer and him are a month apart.

Wow it feels like fall around here. The leaves are turning and starting to shed and the cool air and breeze reminds me that sandals will no longer do for my children's footwear! I am excited for the fall colors, apple cider, carving pumpkins, and apple picking, but I am going to miss those warm sunny days without coats and socks and shoes. Things are good around here. Not too much to report. Sawyer is 8 weeks old already and is smiling all the time. He is starting to find his voice and we are getting some occasional "coos" now and then. Ella and Nathan love to lay with him on the floor and Ella's main job is wipe the bubbles or drool from his mouth with the burp cloth. I am starting to mentally gear myself to go back to work. I start the week of Oct. 18 and not really looking forward to going back. We have so many changes at work and I know it is going to take time to get back into the swing of things. It will also be a challenge for Tim to get 3 kids (non the less a baby) out the door by 7:15am. I am sure we will find a pattern and definitely have to go to bed earlier.
