October-November...ohhh I am slacking
I used to be so good with blogging and these past months have failed me. I guess you could say chasing after 3 kids and being at the end of my pregnancy has left me little time or remembrance for blogging. Well here is the updates as to now. I am entering my 39th week. 9 more days and counting. I am feeling pretty good, but ready to meet this little one. The kids and I have been getting over a cold and then on Wed. night I woke up with a terrible ear pain that kept me up all night. I took myself in to Urgent care on Thursday morning only to find that I have a whopping ear infection and a small tear in my ear drum. The pain has subsided, but I still do not have full hearing out of my right ear. Great way to end the pregnancy huh!!!!!!! The kids are doing well and Ella keeps asking how long until the new baby comes. Ella and Nathan have been doing great at playing together by themselves. They have quite the imagination and love to make up stories to play. Like building fires downstairs and playing farm with some of Grandpa Beckering's corn. Sawyer is making some big strides too. He knows everything you tell him and will march right up stairs to the bathroom when you tell him it's bath time. He also is in the frustration stage. If things don't go his way, he is mad and throws something. It is the challenge of not knowing what he always wants. We are working at getting him to say a couple words and he does repeat some things. We think he is getting some teeth and yesterday, he had a fever and felt yucky all day. Hopefully more teeth will becoming soon.
We had a nice time in Minnesota in the middle of October. The kids did really well on the 12 hour trip and acclimated to farm life quite quickly. We got to ride lots of combines and tractors and get some close up time with dogs, cats, and cows. The cousins were able to bond again and we got to meet our new cousin Miles....who is pretty precious by the way. Made having a newborn around a little more realistic. Dad and Mom babysat all the grand kids except for Miles and let the adult children go out to eat and catch up. We so appreciated that.
Now we are basically trying to prepare for life with a baby. We are running errands and trying to get things somewhat organized. We covet your prayers in the next weeks for a healthy delivery and a healthy baby.

End of summer pics
Nathan got "Cars" jammies from a garage sale and thought he had to wear them the whole next day.
We went to the Zoo with our best neighbors Carrie and Ryan
We love petting the goats!
We love looking at the fish at the Zoo!
Playing with some friends Jasper and Molly. They're our neighbors' grandchildren and we got to spend some fun times with them this summer.
Smiles for Sawyer!
Here are a couple of pictures of the kids here at the end of the summer. We are enjoying a little cooler weather today and I (being 8 months pregnant, really enjoy a little cooler weather). Sawyer is starting to walk more and more. He still looks like a fawn or a baby calf and you can tell it is very methodical, but he is starting to really get the hang of it. Ella and Nathan are going to start gymnastics this week, so I am sure we'll have some pictures of that to post soon. Hope you have a blessed Labor Day!
Sawyer walking outside
Sawyer is starting to take off walking. He still will regress to crawling when wanting to get somewhere fast, but he is making some strides in his walk too.

Camping at The Conference Grounds
Kurt and Carissa and family. (Sorry Rachel..no pic of your family to blog)
3 Musketeers
Ironic what the wording was below Nathan's head!
Daddy entertaining Sawyer at the pool.
The kids love swimming. They got to be pretty daring and Ella even dunked her head under the water. Nathan required a life jacket and a floatee to go out in the water. Thanks Anna for letting up borrow your pink one all week.
Ready for the plunge into the pool.
Tim overseeing the kids play side walk chalk
The kids loved to play in our pop-up!
Chillin with dad
Our camping site
Carissa and Rachel preparing the meal!
Last week we spent the whole week at Christian Conference Grounds camping with Carissa and Rachel and families. We had a nice time. The kids loved every minute of it and still ask when they can go back to, "camp!" Tim did not come up until Thursday and I would say that camping by yourself with 3 kids and being 6 months pregnant was a little overwhelming at times. Thankfully I had good friends who would help out with the kids, etc. I don't know if we will be doing this next year when there will be 4 Stuive kids around!
