New Family of Four

Nathan sleeps soundly (but of course it is day time......... to check out his eyes join us around
4 am!)

Day #4 in the life of Ella and Nathan! Today was their first outing to the Pediatrician. They are growing good. Nathan is 5lb 13oz and Ella is 5lbs 9oz. They have not lost any weight since leaving the hospital so we are happy for that. They seem to be very content, but possibly have their days and nights switched around (to the fatigue of their parents)! All in all, we are thoroughly enjoying our new Christmas blessings. Alissa's parents and her brother Dan and Laura came up on Thursday to meet the twins. It has been wonderful to have more hands to hold, burp, diaper change, swaddle, comfort, and spoil. We are enjoying having meals made for us by Laura and we know Mom Beckering will continue this for us in the next two weeks. We attempted our first time with cloth diapers today. It is a two person job to get them on right now and at this time the disposables will definitely be used at night!

We love them, we love them, WE LOVE THEM! I also wish I was there to snuggle them. Spencer and Cassidy are so proud to have two new cousins. Glad to hear all is well. Just remember~sleep is highly overrated! Enjoy every precious moment, even those that come in the middle of the night. Blessings to you all!

They are adorable!!!! We so wish we could come and see them but the pictures are great to see for now. We are very proud to be an aunt and uncle, and I am sure Brayden will have lots of fun with his new cousins. We hope all is going well with you and Tim and that you are feeling good Alissa. Take care of yourself and those little ones and we will talk to you soon! Make sure they both get lots of kisses from us!!!!

What Christmas miracles! They are beautiful! I hope you enjoy each moment, even those in the middle of the night. :) Glad you have family in to help you get settled. Take them up on the offer to take a nap every once in a while (new mothers are awful at this, as I know from experience...) I'd love to stop by next week. I'll give you a call.

Love,
Dana (and Tim & Caleb, too)

Congrats on your two beautiful bundles of joy. We have experience with the Christmas eve birth and it is such a blessing to bring in the new year as a new family! Enjoy every precious moment as they grow too fast! And certainly sleep when you have a chance :) Love from our family to yours and wishes for God richest blessings in this New Year. Tracy Hosford
